Position Qualifications

Education

JR. Instructor

Entry Level- Teaching/Mentoring

Age Requirement: Must be between 16–24 years old

Program Experience: Must have attended one of the foundation’s previous camps or programs

Compensation: Potential for paid work at $8–$10 per hour

Meals Provided: Enjoy meals during program sessions

Personal Qualities: Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to teamwork; eager to empower peers through beauty, self-care, and life skills 

Assistant Director

Socials Skills/ Organization

  • Opening & Closing: Ensure smooth daily operations by managing camp setup and closure

  • Attendance Tracking: Monitor participant attendance and maintain accurate records

  • Problem Solving: Address challenges quickly and effectively to support staff and participants

  • Meal Coordination: Order and pick up lunches, ensuring meals are ready and organized

  • Paperwork Management: Handle required forms, reports, and documentation with accuracy

  • Duty Designation: Assign tasks to Jr Instructors, volunteers, and staff to keep camp running efficiently

Camp Volunteer/Intern

Entry Level- Community Service

  • Assist with daily camp activities and workshops

  • Support Jr Instructors and staff in guiding participants

  • Help with setup, cleanup, and maintaining a positive environment

  • Provide encouragement and mentorship to youth participants

  • Contribute to the foundation’s mission of empowerment through beauty, self-care, and life skills

  • Qualifications

  • Open to enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and serve

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Commitment to reliability and positive energy

  • Prior participation in foundation programs preferred but not required

Beauty Profession Instructor

2 years Beauty Experience

  • Lead or assist in beauty-focused workshops (hair, skin, nails, wellness)

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to youth and young adults

  • Demonstrate professional techniques while fostering confidence and self-care

  • Collaborate with camp staff to create engaging, skill-building sessions

  • Support the foundation’s mission of restorative beauty and empowerment

  • Qualifications

  • Licensed or experienced beauty professionals preferred

  • Passion for teaching and uplifting others

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive environment
